Wow time flies! I have spent the past 22 years as a nurse. Seven years practicing anesthesia as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)- try to say that real fast! My nursing career started in the Burn Intensive Care Unit at St. V's in Toledo Ohio. That is where I learned how amazing the skin is, how it protects us, the damage chemicals can cause (fire is a chemical reaction- just as most chemicals in commercial skincare are irritants), how it regenerates, and without it- or extensive damage to it, we will die.

As a practicing CRNA, I understand pathophysiology, the absorption, distribution, breakdown, storage and elimination of chemicals.
